Our relationship (Boba tea and I) began in the second half of 2022 in Vienna. I believe it was a mango sago and golden tapioca boba that left my culinary heart exposed and aching for more. However, the most lethal wound to my heart and my wallet was brown sugar tapioca milk tea. To this day, I put aside all sense, including financially, to taste it again every chance that I get. If diabetes weren’t in the cards, I would probably have two bobas every day.
